We want a society built for the many, not the few.
While the Government goes easy on the bankers who got us into this fix, it’s stripping funding out of local services, making our hospitals, schools, transport and police take the strain instead. They say there is no ‘magic money tree’, but then give £1 billlion to the DUP to stay in power. In these tough times, more than ever, the priorities have to be right.
Labour believes in putting people and communities first.
We believe those who contributed most to creating the problem should now shoulder the responsibility for fixing things. The Government has its priorities wrong and is breaking the promises it made last year.
We are working hard locally to show that there is a fairer way to address the needs of our local community, and of our country. We hope this website will give you the information you need. If you want to help us put the community’s priorities first, we hope you will come and join us. Please do feel free to contact us by email on email@example.com or one of our councillors. Their contact details can be found in the local councillors’ page.
